Default Arrangment/Order of heroes

I searched and didn't really find anything. Here's my idea. Not really anything huge, and I have no idea if it would be possible, but does anyone else think it would be amazing if you could order your heroes in the pull-down selection bar however you wanted? I get really annoyed sometimes trying to search through all 20 of my heroes to find the one I want. Seems like it would be really helpful to be able to order the heroes by profession so you could have all your monks, warriors, necros, etc, grouped together instead of dispersed throughout your list. Maybe they could just have the heroes in a new set arrangement that is easier to use, or make it customizable, so a player can arrange it however he/she chooses, say, putting his 3 most used heroes at the top of his list, and filling in from there on down. Well thats it, let me know what you guys think.

It's a nice idea, but hardly a priority I think

Yeah it would be cool, especially when you have all the damn heroes and the one you want is right at the bottom >.<

But it's not a priority really is it.

Been suggested at least once:

And although it would be nice, it doesn't take long to learn where the heroes are. I choose quite a few different heroes all the time, and have learned where in the list they will be so I can locate them quickly. Even if it took me longer, it isn't much time, and not anywhere needed, just desired. I'd much rather have some clipping issues fixed, or pet AI revamped, or various other things that would serve a purpose to gameplay.

It would be nice, but only to save few seconds.. (at least now i remember that i have different heroes, and not just the few i use more often )

Sure another lil advantage is always nice. BUT, I'd rather see something like being able to individually flag your henchman as well as your 3 heros.

Instead of using the pull-down menu, why not just open up the Party Selection window and use the Heroes Tab. They're all listed right there, so you don't have to look as hard.

Haha well as I said, it's not really a big deal and I would like to see other issues fixed, such as clipping etc, but those issues seem to have been around forever and they never seem to get fixed. =/ I guess to me it just seems illogical that they would be ordered any other way. I mean, it's not even alphabetical or in the order that you have acquired them. I don't know much about game design/programming etc, but it doesn't seem like it would be too hard to change the "stock" order of the heroes, even if the user can't arrange it. Why not do both this and new content/bug fixes/anything else if it isn't too hard?
But as I said, I would rather see new content and fixes over this any day.

/notsigned.

It's not a new idea and Party Search makes this useless anyway.

By opening the Search window, then clicking on the "Heroes" tab. Dependant on your screen resolution, you can see/add your heroes all in one list.

Back to topic, agreed that it's a nice idea but I would prefer more pressing game issues to be resolved
